I`m Rocio Campos, from Mar del Plata, Argentina.
I started kiting in 2009, when I was 12 years old. Now I’m 22 years old, 3 times Argentinian Champion, with many participations in international competitions (PKRA, Red Bull Air Style), and ranked among the top 10 men in Argentina. I try to stay as much as possible in the water and travelling with my kite without neglecting my job and my studies on Business Administration.
One of the most beautiful things I experience as a rider is to be able to share the sport with my family. To kite with my parents and teach my three sisters new moves at the same time is priceless. It’s so much fun to be on the water while traveling and sharing moments all together. They always support me and stand by me in competitions too.
Kitesurfing is a lifestyle for me. I could not imagine my life without it. It is my way to connect with nature and feel free. When I’m in the water I’m always happy and enthusiastic looking for my next steps, and how to progress in kiteboarding and in daily life.
