pole pole in swahili means "slowly slowly", and this is exactly how Emil Christiansen experiences the lifestyle in Kenya.
He made a very great decision, when he chose to spend some weeks in Kenya this winter. It turned out to be the perfect winter getaway and perfect kite destination, with the wind bowing everyday from midday till sunset. But not only was it the perfect kitesurfing getaway, Kenya offered huge variation of activities, such as Stand Up Paddeling, deep sea fishing, snorkeling/diving, wildlife safari and visiting a local village.
He tried different spots around Kenya, but the Kite world Wide lodge on Shimoni island was without any doubt the best place to kite, and the place with the best atmosphere!
