The ultimate light wind weapon and session saver is a hydrofoil. During my recent trip to Cabo Verde, the wind was very calm for many days with only 6-8 knots. In between there were windier days with good swell, but during the calm days the Liquid Force hydrofoil gave me so many good sessions in the beautiful bay of Santa Maria. My friend Michael Juhl got a few nice shots from his drone, the rest of the footage is shot with Go Pro on a line mount or sony action cam on helmet or stick.
